Call for Abstracts - Infection Prevention 2010

Following feedback from last years applicants we have amended the system and you can now submit an abstract before registering for conference, if your abstract is accepted you will be required to register for conference as a paying delegate.

 

Free papers - Your paper will be allocated a session time on either Monday or Tuesday of Conference, successfull applicants will be notified of their allocated session date and time.

Free posters - Following feed back from delegates new for 2010 there are designated times within the conference programme on Monday and Tuesday to view posters, accepted applicants will be informed which day and time they are to man their poster.

 

We are pleased to invite submission of abstracts for free paper and poster presentations at Infection Prevention 2010.  The conference provides an opportunity to share the latest practitioner research, advances in audit and surveillance and service improvement initiatives in the field of infection prevention across the health and social care economy.  The themes of this year’s conference are:

Abstracts on all aspects of infection prevention are invited. However, research and service improvement reports in the following areas are particularly welcome:

The Infection Prevention Society must ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in its educational activities. Therefore, all speakers are expected to declare any conflict of interest relevant to the presentation being given.

 

1.  Title (maximum 70 characters)

 

2.  Abstract Formats: the following headings must be used for abstract submissions

 

Research Report/ Outbreak Investigation/ Surveillance Study

 

Service Improvement Project

 

 

A prize will be awarded at the end of the Conference for the best free paper and poster presentation.
